Science IT resources are not intended for long-term archival or publication of research data. For guidance on storing and sharing research data, please refer to the University Library.

Data Archiving¶

UZH Central IT (ZI) offers a long-term storage (tape backup drive) for 5 or 10 years. Data has to be pre-zipped/tarred into directories up to 5 Tb in size (no 0 byte files) and copied to the long-term storage (LTS) NAS via the SMB-based protocol.
