ScienceCloud¶
ScienceCloud provides a variety of computing, storage, and networking services to meet the needs of your computational research. You can provision virtual servers, block storage devices, and set up a firewall for your own private network to create then scale your personal research infrastructure.
Accessing the service¶

Once you have a ScienceCloud user account, open a web browser and go to https://cloud.science-it.uzh.ch (Javascript and Cookies must be enabled).
Log in to the ScienceCloud Web Interface using the credentials provided:
- User Name: UZH shortname
- Password: Active Directory (AD) password
- Domain: UZH
Attention
For security reasons, you can access ScienceCloud Web Interface only from the UZH internal network. Please use the UZH VPN if you are connecting from off-campus.
